Spring OHSAA Baseball and Track & Field Tournaments Add To Busy Sports Weekend in Columbus

It is that time of year again when dreams come true! All the time and dedication has paid off. A Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) state championship is in sight.

The OHSAA Baseball Championships open Thursday, June 2 at Huntington Park with a Div. I Semifinal. Local teams include Grove City and Columbus St. Francis DeSales. Click here for tournament schedule and more. 

The OHSAA Track & Field Championships takes place at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium at The Ohio State University on June 3-4. Over 35 schools from Columbus will compete to be the best in the state. Click here for championship schedule and more information.

During the course of the event in 2010, over 1,900 student-athletes competed in three divisions for boys and girls, with over 25,000 spectators in attendance to root for their school.
