November OHSAA State Championships Coming to Columbus

Coming to Columbus this weekend is the start of both the 2011 OHSAA State Field Hockey and Cross Country Championships.  These events will be played at Upper Arlington High School and the National Trail Raceway in Hebron, Ohio.

The State Field Hockey Championships will be spread over two days.  The State Semifinals will be held on Saturday afternoon with Thomas Worthington taking on Cincinnati St. Ursula Academy at 12 p.m. and Gahanna Columbus Academy facing Shaker Heights Hathaway Brown at 2:30 p.m..  The winners of these two games will face off against each other on Sunday at 1 p.m.
The State Cross Country Championships will be held exclusively on Saturday for all Boys and Girls divisions.  The Championships will start with the Girls Division III at 11:00 a.m. and conclude with the Boys Division I at 3:00 p.m.

Also being played in Columbus November 11-12 is the OHSAA Boys and Girls State Soccer Championships. The tournament finals will be held at Crew Stadium.
